Our 7th and 8th graders did an amazing job at the History Day Regionals event. Of the sixteen projects at Regionals, ten will be going on to State and four got honorable mentions. Our school actually swept the documentary category with all four of our documentary projects going on to State.
Friends School of Minnesota art teacher Laura Pereira spent her summer doing entomological research and making new encaustic painting which will be shown October 30 – November 2, 2013 at the Flow Art Space. Friends School of Minnesota appreciates the work of all of our volunteers. Each year, we have over 100 volunteers who dedicate time to our school (in addition to our 1000+ Plant Sale volunteers!).
