Emi’s Science Fair Project Wins!

Friends School of Minnesota 8th grader Emi Topp-Johnson’s project on corn fungus qualified for the State Science Fair, which took place over spring break. Emi’s display won a Bronze Star from the Minnesota Academy of Science (the organization that runs the state science fair), for being in the top 20% of all middle school projects. Riley Elected Committee Chair

St. Paul Academy sophomore Riley Wheaton (FSMN Class of 2012), has been elected Chair of SPA’s 2014-15 Student-Faculty Discipline Committee. Congratulations to Riley on his successful campaign! Help Collect Boxes for the Friends School Plant Sale

Shoppers entering the Friends School Plant Sale at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand are offered cardboard strawberry flats to help carry their pots of plants. These strawberry boxes are available to our customers because a group of hard-working volunteers collect and store over 10,000 boxes every year!  Can you help?

Stefan Frazier’s Venue Vanity at The Beat Coffeehouse

Friends School of Minnesota alumnus Stefan Frazier (Class of 2009) and Jared Blessner’s band Venue Vanity is playing this Friday, January 10 at The Beat Coffeehouse in Minneapolis.
