For two weeks this spring, all Friends School of Minnesota fifth and sixth grade students took “elective” classes. These fun classes allow students to explore a topic/activity without grades, homework, or stress!
The first week’s electives included drama games with Rebecca, cooking with Lili, Scrabble tournament with Anna, and sock animals with Melissa.

The next week, students made smoothies with Anna, played chess with Steve, did art projects with Kris, or worked on fabric/fiber art with Jeannette.

Fifth and sixth grade electives have been lots of fun!
