Friends School of Minnesota fifth and sixth graders are off on their class trip. They will be away three nights studying Minnesota History and environmental education.

Each spring the 5/6 graders embark on a 3 night 4 day field trip to connect their classroom learning with real life experiences. This year they will be traveling to a YMCA camp for a fun day of community building led by YMCA staff and an overnight stay in rustic cabins. They will also spend time at a school farm in Wisconsin and learn about edible plants, survival skills, animal care and wool working, plus some time working in the greenhouse.
