MRES Solar Boat Regatta 2016

Friends School of Minnesota’s 7th and 8th grade Engineering Club once again participated in the MRES Solar Boat Regatta. This boat race held at Baker Lake in Eden Prairie every spring.  It is sponsored by the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society (MRES). State History Day 2016

We spent a beautiful May Day at the University of Minnesota for State History Day, supporting eight 7th and 8th grade projects that competed in the categories of performance, exhibit, documentary, website, and paper. Recently, Friends School of Minnesota 7th and 8th graders showcased their National History Day projects at FSM. The students started the projects in December by choosing a topic and connecting it to the year’s theme, Exploration, Encounter, and Exchange in History. FSM Students Participate in Musicalympiad

Last week, Friends School of Minnesota students participated in the 2015 Minnesota State Musicalympiad™ competition. Students from schools across the Twin Cities gathered on Friday, November 13th at the St. Paul City School gym for two hours of fun, competitive music theory games. Friends School of Minnesota’s grounds have been nominated again for a Blooming St. Paul Award!
