High School Information Night 2016

We had a great turn out for our annual High School Information Night. Over 60 parents and students gathered to learn about high school options. A panel of FSM alumni shared their experiences of selecting a high school and how they managed the transition from 8th grade to high school. Our alumni also gave some sage advice to our 8th graders… get involved, be yourself, don’t procrastinate!

Leaf Raking for Elders Service Project 2015

Last Saturday morning, Friends School community members gathered for a community day of service.  About 40 students, staff, parents, and alumni helped seniors living in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood by raking leaves.  We were able to take care of five different lawns and plan to take care of several more this week as classroom groups go out again. This annual service work is a great way to connect with our neighborhood!
