Shane Zack. You hear the name, and you have a story. Whether working with third graders or middle school science scholars, supervising kindergarten lunch or leading the puzzle challenge on release days, Shane  Zack knows every Friends School of Minnesota student and many of our summer campers too.

We feel very lucky to have Shane on board as one of our key summer teachers, where he gets a chance to share his talents across a range of subjects. Children interested in making everything from bubble gum to rockets to a guitar they can really play can learn how to do that this summer with Shane.

In addition to leading our middle-school camping trips, he will be with us this year teaching:

  • Mad Scientist and Inside Out (June 18-22)
  • Really Robots and Gym Games (June 25-29)
  • Guitar Craft and Inside Out (July 2-6),
  • Rocket Science and Really Bad Snacks (July 23-27)
  • The ever popular Mock Trial for budding middle school lawyers everywhere, July 30-August 3

Friend School of Minnesota summer program is open to the entire community and offers activities for four to fourteen-year-olds. I hope to see you soon!
