Every once in awhile a truly magical production comes along and this is it! Whether 4 or 104, I dare say there is enchantment for everyone. Our family found The Dragons are Singing Tonight, at The Southern Theatre, to be a wonderful mix of imagination, curiosity and creativity.

The Dragons are Singing Tonight features:

  • a musical score of songs enliving US Children’s Poet Laureate Jack Prelutsky’s cherished book of dragon poems
  • amazing dragon puppets, costumes, creations and accoutrements by Friends School of Minnesota parent Chris Lutter-Gardella of Puppet Farm Arts
  • some 30 singing boys from the Minnesota Boys Choir
  • three aeralists from Circus Juventas
  • and some great live musicians and actors of all ages

This upcoming weekend is the last of the run and tickets have been sold out so if you’re at all inclined, don’t wait! All the information you might need is at: http://www.southerntheater.org/calendar-of-events/
